The North San Diego County firm, Straub Construction, Inc. of Fallbrook, received high marks from the Associated Builders and Contractors to earn re-certification in the Accredited Quality Certification program.
In order to receive the Accredited Quality Certification, Straub Construction had to meet all of the requirements, including: at least 2 quality based industry awards recognized by their peers; conducting Job Site Hazard Analyses before work commences; proving financial stability and bonding capacity; conducting new employee safety orientations; enforcing a written substance abuse program with regular screening; utilizing a Quality Control Program; and, providing a formalized Craft Training structure.
Additionally, Straub’s Safety Incident Rate had to fall below the industry’s standards. Finally, Straub employees regularly participated in civic-oriented and community activities, which was the final requirement.
Upon receiving the certification, President/CEO Richard Straub stated “We are proud to have our reputation for quality earn this prestigious certification.
